It seems like it doesn’t take much a splurge day here a double fudge brownie there and before you know it your skinny jeans look more like they could be used to floss your teeth with than to be wrapped around your thighs. It is a sad state of affairs, but not one to get too upset over as you can always reverse the damage and come back looking hotter than ever.
Your special jeans, or other piece of appropriate clothing are every girl’s weather vane of body size. They are the alarm that sounds when you can no longer fit into them and identify which area (waist or hips and thighs) that needs the most work in the exercise stakes.
If you find yourself in a code red type situation, then it is not the moment to fling yourself to the floor and cry yourself to sleep for a week (although that would probably burn off quite a few calories). No! It is time to be an empowered woman and make crunches out out crunchy peanut butter. In this situation you need to pull yourself up by your boot laces and admit that you need to do some exercise.
So you’re a bit on the pudgy side at the moment – who cares in a few short weeks you could be feeling great about yourself. All you need to do is find some kind of exercise that you enjoy and can do regularly.
Loads of people like to make excuses and say ‘I don’t have the time to exercise’ or ‘I can’t afford the gym fees’. But if you are in that mentality, you can never make a positive change in your life. Quite simply you need to make time for your health, when all is said and done it is the most important thing that you have. If you have a tight budget, then you can exercise at home for free.
If you can afford it and you are a bit low on motivation, then get yourself a personal trainer. They will be able to come up with a spectacular program for you to whittle down the extra pounds in no time.
If you can’t stretch to a trainer of your own, then all you need to do is to browse the Internet and find a whole lot of exercises that will burn fat and a muscle workout routine that will tone your muscles in the appropriate areas.
