Do You Really Know About The Ice Cream Diet?

Monday, October 31st, 2011

Of course lots of people have been interested in the Ice Cream Diet – with that kind of name! Prevention magazine did an article about it, and the Ice Cream Diet’s creator flatly states that it’s possible to lose weight, get healthier, and eat ice cream every day. In order to determine whether this diet is for real or not, we decided to review it and tell you the benefits and disadvantages it has.

The Ice Cream Diet, like many others, will talk about why you need to develop the habit of good and regular exercise to accompany the diet and help you lose weight. Also, just in case… the Ice Cream Diet doesn’t mean you eat all the ice cream you want, and then something extraordinary happens and the weight starts disappearing. Any diet that makes the claim that you can lose weight without exercise is terribly misinformed or just outright misleading you. The Ice Cream Diet in a nutshell – exercise five times per week each of about half an hour; healthy eating that is low calorie, and eating a small portion of ice cream each day as a reward. We have no doubts that you’ll lose weight if you follow the plan and work it.

Most people assume that the only reason the ice cream diet includes ice cream is to kill the otherwise intolerable taste of the diet. However, the fact is that ice cream itself may help you to lose weight because of the calcium it contains. Weight loss can be a challenge for someone who it lacking calcium in their diet. Fat can be burned more efficiently when you consume calcium. Calcium supplements are always an option, but calcium rich foods are better for you. Regular exercise is recommended no matter what diet you are on.

Like so many other things, this diet is simply not cut out for every single person. This diet operates on the principle of moderation, allowing you to eat a small portion of ice cream every day. Unfortunately, every single person will not be able to maintain eating ice cream in moderation. Some are just terribly compulsive and won’t be able to resist the temptation. So the Ice Cream Diet is fine if you have a certain amount of self control, but if you have problems eating in moderation, it may not be practical for you. In summary, the Ice Cream Diet can be a workable weight loss plan, but only if you stay within the caloric restrictions it gives you. Aside from the name, designed to attract attention, this is a straight-forward approach to common sense exercise and watching your calories. So, just maintain the suggestions and don’t be silly thinking you can eat ice cream all the way to looking great – the opposite will happen.

Do You Really Know About The Ice Cream Diet?

This new diet promises that you will lose weight while eating Ice Cream. You have probably tried all the diets out that and are wondering is this one worth a try as well. Could this diet be the one for you, read the review and find out.

The saturated fats come from animal products. With this diet you can devour ice cream as well as cheese, meat and fish. You need some amounts of saturated fat to be healthy. Of course, you don’t want to overdo it with any kind of fat, but the Ice Cream Diet is a rather low calorie diet, and if you follow its recommendations you won’t be getting a very large amount of saturated (or any other kind) of fat. In this way, the Ice Cream Diet may actually be healthier than many other, more conventional diets. Sensible Search Engine Optimization methods, practiced intelligently can easily end in high search engine ranking for any sort of subject ranging from baseball bats to Left Handed Drivers.

Ok, we’ll tell you that this diet incorporates something from psychology in its approach. Here’s the deal about this… take away your ability to eat something, or have something; and then you will discover you want it with stronger desire. Obviously this is what’s happening when people diet, and they end up with feelings of deprivation. Once people reach a weight loss goal, then they will almost always go back to eating those very foods they were not allowing themselves to eat. So the approach with the Ice Cream Diet is that the feeling of deprivation is much less, and overall it’s much better knowing you can eat a little ice cream each day. The net result is to decrease the chance of chucking the diet and splurging on something good and fattening.

Like any other kind of diet, if you manage to stick with it you can actually get pretty bored with it. It’s a low cal diet, bottom line, no matter that you get to eat ice cream. If you have the discipline to do it and lose weight, then you very well may find yourself tired of the low variety of foods. So it’s just something to keep in mind, and you may find out that you prefer something with a wider selection of dietary options. So really it all boils down to your own personal choices and needs, so just think about that and see how you feel.

Will the Ice Cream Diet work? Sure it will, but you have to learn what it teaches and then adhere to what it has you do. If you eat more ice cream than the diet suggests, however, you will probably gain weight! The attraction of this diet is the daily ice cream breaks things up, gives you a little something each day, and you won’t feel like you’re in boot camp, or wherever.
